Ric-Chara Pina

I started out in 2014 as Production Manager for Brother Vellies and William Okpo—two women’s wear brands that truly define creativity. That role had me doing it all, from working with local makers in New York to coordinating international production in Portugal and Africa. I learned how to keep things running smoothly while making sure nothing loses its heart—or its connection to the creators.

After that, I shifted into events and film production, freelancing on experiences that culturally mattered—H&M’s Juneteenth collaboration and rebrand with Ruth Carter in 2020, and project-managing Solange Knowles’ wedding in New Orleans.

I eventually joined Equator Studios as their in-house line producer.

Now I freelance across logistics in media, fashion, and events. Some of my proudest projects have been for Rockefeller Center’s HERO exhibition space, including the BLOOM and reSOUND installations.

I’m motivated by the faith it takes to create something out of nothing, and I care deeply about supporting the systems and people that make creative work possible.
